Kick off the season with a Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas Concert

Practice your best Charlie Brown dance moves for the fifth annual Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas Concert series, presented by John Milham's Green Roof Productions, SMG, Huka Entertainment and benefiting the Haven and the Laurel Jones County Animal Rescue League, no-kill animal shelters in Mississippi and Alabama.

December 6th, 2013 7:00PM ~ Meridian, Ms.
December 20th, 7:00 PM ~ Laurel Little Theatre, Laurel, Ms.
December 21st, 7:00 PM ~ Saenger Theatre, Mobile, Al.

Fill your head with dancing sugar plum fairies as drummer John Milham takes the stage with his trio, featuring pianist Chris Spies and bassist Tommy Sciple, to perform Vince Guaraldi's beloved soundtrack, "A Charlie Brown Christmas." Children of all ages will delight in projected animation from the movie and scenes from other classic children's Christmas movies while the band performs.

Then, we'll rock around the Christmas tree with nationally touring band the Invincible Czars from Austin, Texas. The Czars will perform its rendition of Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker Suite," an arrangement described as "a whimsical rock interpretation  expanded in recent years to include the band's unique interpretations of other seasonal favorites."
